Fields of sunflowers surround the school campus, and the harvested seeds are pressed for oil and bottled for sale to local markets and area residents. Proceeds go to help pay school tuitions for students who are unable to do so. The business is small but successful, and local merchants would purchase more product if it was available. Donations to this campaign will go toward the purchase of additional land for more sunflower fields, another oil processor, and additional related equipment. The cost of a vehicle to transport greater volumes of product is also included in the goal amount. More sunflowers, more oil, and more sales mean more money to better cover school expenses that are at present significantly underfunded.
